All displays are covered by our £10 million public
liability insurance. It is worth noting that a fair number of
other display companies will only carry £5 million
insurance.
We are members of the CBI’s Explosive Industries Group
(EIG), and the British Pyrotechnists Association (BPA).
All our firers are trained in house and independently certified
by the BPA (British Pyrotechnists Association).
If you're unsure about if, or where you can have fireworks, don't
worry. Give us a call and we can normally make a quick initial
assessment of site suitability using Google maps.
If the site appears suitable it will be inspected by one of the
Fuse Fireworks team, who will carry out a full risk assessment
FREE of charge.
The completed risk assessment together with a method statement
and a copy of our public liability insurance certificate will be
given to you and to all relevant parties in advance of the
display.
On the day of a display, the senior firer in charge of the show
will review the risk assessment and method statements to ensure
they are still relevant, and through out the day, will
continually monitor all safety aspects of the display set-up.
When its time to start the show, the senior firer has the
authority to decide if it’s safe to fire or not.
If it’s not safe, we won’t fire the show –
simple as that.
For more information on what factors may prevent us firing a
display see our Help & Advice section.
